The Role
The Project Manager – Interior Design (ID) Fit-Out is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of interior fit-out projects. This includes managing the entire lifecycle of the project, from initial design through to final handover, ensuring that the project meets client specifications, stays within budget, and is delivered on time. The Project Manager will coordinate between clients, designers, contractors, and vendors, ensuring that all aspects of the fit-out are completed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and direct project construction activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational objectives. • Develop comprehensive project plans and communication strategies, effectively communicating project expectations to project managers, stakeholders, and other team members. • Manage project dependencies and critical path, optimizing project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and methodologies. • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for project improvement. • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identifying potential crises and devising contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure project success. • Coach, mentor, and supervise project team members, contractors, and stakeholders, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Conduct thorough project reviews to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements, capturing lessons learned and best practices for future projects. • Develop and implement best practices and tools for project execution, driving productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives to enhance market competitiveness and product reliability. • Support production area activities as needed, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve unit performance objectives and organizational goals. • Conduct material quality control checks and make reliable recommendations. • Implement productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives to assist in market competitiveness and product reliability. • Implement and promote product quality and workplace safety awareness programs to attain zero accident results. Support production area activities in a hands-on manner to assist in achieving unit performance objectives. • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. • Performs related duties as directed. • Working on cash flow to project inflow & outflow of liquidity. • Issuing Material Request Slip with specification & quantity to procurement. • Coordinate and issue a program of work. Ensure weekly objectives are being met based on the approved program of work. • Always maintaining a two (2) week look ahead and distributing it with the team. • Daily walk site with the internal team and subcontractors to ensure productivity. • Coordination & Internal inspection with the factory production team of all items to the project you are handling to ensure project specification & quality control. • Studying all drawings issued by the design team to know all details and material connections during execution. • Responsible for completing the project time frame including securing the issuance of the Taking Over Certificate. • Supervising the estimations team with any new tenders or variations for your assigned project. • Keeping track of Cost Control as per project budget.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the fit-out industry. • Strong understanding of interior fit-out processes, including construction, design, and finishing works. • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
