REQUIREMENTS
- Proven background in Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction, or Utilities, with a strong understanding of project workflows in one or more of these sectors.
- Commercial expertise – budgeting, financial tracking, and cost control experience.
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- Ideally, you hold formal qualifications such as an HNC, HND, or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Project Management, or possess equivalent experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead High-Profile Projects: Take charge of impactful contracts like the Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN) framework and Strathclyde University infrastructure projects, delivering transformative civil engineering and maintenance work.
- Oversee All Aspects of Project Success: Manage operational tasks, commercial planning (budgeting and financial tracking), and client relationships, ensuring smooth execution and alignment of all project elements.
- Plan with Precision: Scope and plan works with a sharp focus on safety, quality, and budget adherence, delivering excellence in tasks like transformer fencing, waterproofing, and campus infrastructure improvements.
- Build Client Confidence: Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients like Scottish Power, showcasing your proactive and hands-on approach to exceed their expectations.
