Description
Work with the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) to prioritize, plan, and execute the development schedule. Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Lead project teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure project milestones are met. Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and allocate resources efficiently. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with stakeholder expectations. Lead regular project meetings, including preparing agendas, facilitating discussions, and documenting action items. Provide clear direction and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Monitor project progress and performance, and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders. Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and other external partners. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in project management. In-depth knowledge of release management methodologies and industry best practices. Masters project management / MBA-MIS or bachelor’s degree in computer science/ software engineering/ project management /computer engineering from HEC recognized University. PMP or other project management certification will be preferred. 4 to 5 years in managing IT and software development projects. Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools. Release Planning, Execution, Management & Monitoring experience Experience using Click UP/ JIRA / ProjectManager.com will be preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and solve problems effectively. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Understanding of business processes of trade, logistics, supply chain, E-commerce, transport will be an added advantage.
