JOB TITLE: Project Manager II REPORTS TO: Sr Manager, Project Management DEPARTMENT: Assessment Services LOCATION: Remote Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented mid-level Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute projects within and across departments. The candidate should be proactive, organized, and keen to develop their project management skills in a fast-paced, global setting. Occasional travel may be required. Key Responsibilities: Lead planning and execution of small to mid-sized cross-functional projects from initiation to completion Collaborate with stakeholders to validate project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics for assigned projects Create project plans, request necessary resources, and execute the project plan ensuring that objectives, timelines, and budgets are achieved Identify and address project risks, issues, and dependencies within projects; escalate as necessary Keep project team members organized and informed throughout the entire project lifecycle Offer guidance to project teams and oversee their activities to maintain responsibility and on time completion of assignments Report project progress to stakeholders and leadership Promote ongoing cross collaboration and communication between project stakeholders Initiate and manage change request process as needed Maintain detailed project documentation ensuring accessible by all stakeholders Participating in and supporting ongoing project management best practice process improvements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, IT, or related field, or at least 3 years’ proven experience as a project manager delivering projects on schedule and within budget Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies. (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) Demonstrate a basic understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, Smartsheet, Wrike, Monday.com) Project Management certification (CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation) preferred or working on Exposure to Agile or Scrum project management methodologies Some familiarity with project budgeting, resource & capacity planning a plus Exposure to change management a plus Process improvement experience and certifications a plus (Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt) Prometric is an Equal Employment/Affirmative Action employer.
