Description
About the Role The Project Manager III is an enterprise project leader driving large-scale, cross-functional technology transformations across multiple platforms, vendors, and business units. In this role, you’ll lead several system implementations simultaneously, providing strategic oversight of the firm’s technology stack while collaborating closely with other PMs. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership, confidently engaging with VPs and C-suite stakeholders to shape transformation roadmaps, surface organizational risks, and guide the firm through periods of significant change. Success in this role requires deep project management expertise, strong business and technology acumen, and high emotional intelligence to align technology with business strategy and operating models. Your Key Contributions • Lead large-scale, multi-system technology transformation programs involving numerous platforms and vendors. • Oversee integrated portfolios spanning technology, operations, data, security, compliance, and change management. • Ensure transformation efforts align with enterprise strategic priorities. • Select and apply the right delivery methodology (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, scaled frameworks) based on complexity and risk. • Establish governance models, decision-making frameworks, and escalation paths for major initiatives. • Build and manage multi‑year transformation roadmaps that balance value, risk, and organizational capacity. • Identify and manage cross-program dependencies that influence timelines, resources, and outcomes. • Assess downstream impacts of technology change on people, processes, and operating models. • Provide scenario analysis and recommendations to executives to guide strategic decisions. • Lead cross-functional teams across IT, Product, Operations, Finance, HR, Legal, Security, and external partners. • Manage vendor and system integrator relationships to ensure alignment, accountability, and value delivery. • Drive enterprise risk identification, change management planning, and readiness activities across the organization. What Makes You a Great Fit • Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 10+ years of progressive project and program management experience, including enterprise-scale initiatives. • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale technology transformations involving multiple platforms and vendors. • Strong working knowledge of project and program management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, scaled Agile frameworks). • PMP certification, or equivalent, strongly preferred. • Experience with change management, enterprise systems implementations, or digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable. • Demonstrated success leading large, complex, and ambiguous enterprise-wide initiatives. • Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology programs to organizational strategy. • Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels simultaneously. • Exceptional written communication and documentation skills. • Advanced facilitation skills for executive forums and cross-functional decision-making sessions. • Adept at simplifying complexity for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. • High emotional intelligence with strong self-awareness, empathy, resilience, and professional composure. • Skilled at navigating organizational change, resistance, and conflict. • Strong influencing abilities without relying on formal authority. • Deep expertise in planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and delivery oversight across multiple initiatives.
