WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone with:

  • a BSc or equivalent qualification in biology, epidemiology, computing, behavioural science or closely related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of basic research methods and data interpretation.
  • Knowledge of cancer risk, data science, epidemiology and and practical experience within a research environment will be desirable.
  • Previous experience in study management, data management, ethics applications and regulatory reporting would be an advantage.

This is a part time (0.5 FTE), fixed term contract (24 months) based at Hammersmith Campus.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Applications are invited for a Project Manager (0.5 FTE) within the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre (OCARC) in the Division of Cancer at Imperial (Hammersmith Campus). The OCARC was established with core funding from the charity Ovarian Cancer Action and comprises over 70 researchers from Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Imperial College London. As Project Manager, you will take a lead role in newly funded multi-disciplinary project funded by Cancer Research UK.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

You will take a lead role in project managing this newly funded multi-disciplinary project grant for early detection of cancer called the Cancer Loyalty Card Study-2 (CLOCS-2). The purpose of this post is to manage ethics and regulatory approvals, reporting, data management, and public and patient engagement and communication.
