JOB SUMMARY

This position assists in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects. The position is accountable for the entire project scope, project team, resources and doing all that is necessary to ensure the success of each project. They perform this role utilizing critical thinking skills obtained through many years of project management experience. This role values the flow of information within a project and takes appropriate measures to ensure effective communication. The Project Manager utilizes different types of resources to influence project decisions. This role is expected to absorb and maintain information quickly, while managing a portfolio of projects.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• PowerPoint, Word, Excel, MS Project, MS Teams, Webex. Familiarity with Planview PPMPRo and Office Timeline a plus.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing IT Infrastructure and Software Application development projects.
• Application development project management experience utilizing an Agile approach is preferred.
• Experience managing implementations across multiple business functions a plus but not required.
• PMP certification a plus but not required.
• CRM, Mobile App design, Planview, ServiceNow, and Kanban/Leankit/Azure DevOps a plus but not required.

Plan, organize, and manage multiple projects including:

• Creating project work plans
• Identifying resources and making assignments along with reporting progress against those assignments.
• Applying methodology and enforcing project standards
• Minimizing exposure and risk
• Ensuring project documentation is thorough and complete for all phases of the project.
• Reporting project progress
• Apply project methodology and enforce standards
• Communicate process changes enhancements, project status and modifications - verbally or through written documentation - to management, peers, staff, vendors, and other associates so that issues and solutions are understood and addressed
• Develop, standardize, and maintain new or improved processes based on findings and analysis
• Liaise with internal and external customers and vendors to define business procedures, and establish project needs
• Analyze project requirements to determine tasks and resources required to implement the project on time and on budget.
