Plenitude On the Road is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate the rollout and operation of its EV charging network in DAT area.
The candidate will be part of the Rollout Team based in Germany , with availability for short site visits across the country and occasional meetings at Plenitude On the Road headquarters in Italy.
In this role, the Project Manager will monitor and report on key project milestones following company’s procedures, drive continuous improvement in project and program delivery, and conduct research to ensure the timely and proper installation of EV chargers according to the agreed rollout plan. The candidate will oversee all project phases with selected suppliers, including permitting, design, coordination, installation and commissioning, as well as prepare reports on tests and analyses of installations, maintaining accurate records and reporting critical events in line with established process flows.
The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and very good verbal and written skills in English. Knowledge of Italian and other languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities :

  • Manage EV charging infrastructure projects, including contract administration (RFPs, applications, design reviews, approvals) and cost control.
  • Ensure project milestones and objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external teams.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to address issues and manage relationships with suppliers and contractors regarding complaints and clarifications, as required.
  • Provide strategic input on design, installation, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate daily field activities and provide remote support to teams to complete tasks and resolve issues.
  • Monitor performance and service level fulfilment.
  • Manage monthly reporting on engineering and installation activities.
  • Implement continuous process improvements.
  • Review quotations, issue purchase orders and optimise costs.
  • Support the Branch Manager and Head of Rollout during budget reviews
