Would you like to take on a stimulating, high-impact challenge? We are seeking a skilled Project Manager, Information Technology to oversee and manage various projects from initiation to completion.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, information technology, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management or a related role.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP, Prince 2) certification, Agile certification (Scrum or SAFe) or equivalent is a plus.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Planner, Oracle Primavera).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Transportation domain knowledge is an asset.
  • Experience in managing projects with governmental entities is an asset.
  • Experience in private public partnership project (PPP) is an asset.
  • Experience in business management process deployment and improvement is an asset.
  • Experience in in IT project management and delivery framework.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This person will support the legal and strategy planning business area, the internal reporting and governance activities and IT projects.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the planning and implementation of project tasks.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identifies interdependencies within several projects and programs and be able to track, report and escalate when required.
  • Build financial forecast, including resources/ contracting and procurement active planning and participation.
  • Coordinate resources and manage project team members.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment to encourage innovation and efficiency.
  • Actively contribute to Quarterly and Monthly reports.
