The Project Manager Information Technology is an integral part of our Digital Information Delivery team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ - Remote site.
Compensation range for this position is $175,000.00 -$185,000.00

POSITION DETAILS

Phibro is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead the successful planning and delivery of strategic and operational IT projects across the enterprise. This remote role is ideal for a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in IT project management, who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about driving digital transformation. The Project Manager will be responsible for stewarding projects through our process from concept to completion, and ensuring desired outcomes are aligned with Phibro’s broader technology and business goals. Our goal is to deliver projects on time, on budget, on scope, on quality, and with a high degree of stakeholder satisfaction.
Time zones: IT team members are located primarily in South America, Central and Eastern time zones in the United States, and Israel. Some projects may require flexibility to accommodate meetings with global participants in Asia and Europe, as well.

SKILLS

Advanced organizational skills.
Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
Planning; ability to think ahead and plan, project activities and strategy over short-terms and extended time periods.
Ability to effectively present information to key managers and leadership team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience with mobile and eCommerce systems is a strong plus.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Lead key leaders through the project chartering process, ensuring that business outcomes are defined, projects are aligned with Phibro’s broader technology and business goals/strategies, and projects are designed to be successful at the start.
  • Lead high-level and detailed planning and delivery of IT and data-related projects, including scope definition, resource planning, schedule management.
  • Lead internal resources and third parties/vendors to successfully deliver projects as one team
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Ensure approved quality testing practices are planned and followed
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Successfully manage relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Navigate the IT organization and its processes to ensure policies are followed
  • Transition projects to operations
  • Ensure the organization is set up for success after the project is complete (e.g., ROI, benefits realization)
  • Formally close projects, including lessons learned and key close conversations
