EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • 3-4 years project management experience leading complex InfoSec and IT Infrastructure projects
  • Understanding technical concepts (including types of infrastructure assets, etc)
  • Proven ability to manage projects in a way that reduces risk, ensures predictable results, meets, or exceeds its timeline
  • Previous experience in the banking/financial sector adhering the USA regulations & compliance
  • Expertise in project management discipline and techniques

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced Information Security Certification from (ISC)2, ISACA or equivalent (CISSP, CRISC, CCSP, etc.) are all highly preferred
  • PMP Certification is a plus
  • Bilingual in English / Spanish (verbal, written) is a plus

Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are actively seeking a successful IT Project Manager who can drive project plans, report status and changes, and manage effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders. This person will be providing daily direction to project resources pertaining to IT infrastructure projects while serving as a liaison between client-side Executives and consultants within IT and InfoSec areas (DRP, virtual servers, High Availability, Cloud, hardening, Security, and/or monitoring, etc.). The ideal person will manage overall projects and driving key business and technology aligned deliverables, including business requirements, technical designs, testing, and overall planning.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Create project plans from high level and technical specifications, plan and estimate milestones & activities working within a PMO, IT Infrastructure and InfoSec delivery environments.
  • Drive new capabilities and strategic change creating project plans for Information Security and IT Infrastructure assets while working closely with product management, technology, client service, operations, and business partners to deliver programs/projects to enhance global Information Security capabilities.
  • Manage change control process, overseeing the project approval process, managing project risks, developing contingency plans, and other activities in support of the team’s overall success.
  • Prepare requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations while documenting detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions using good documentation and writing practices.
  • Identify risks on time, propose strategies, workaround and risk mitigation actions proactively.
  • Define technical reporting and alerting requirements/validations in addition to developing relationship with partners in IT and Operations, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration between Operations, IT, and PMO.
  • Ensure early engagement of cross impacted teams such as Architecture, Information Risk, Tech Infrastructure, etc, while supporting the development and approval of the project’s business case.
  • Facilitate and participate in the delivery process for major project deliverables including Project Plan, Business and Functional Requirements, Analysis & Design.
