General Description of Role and Responsibilities: Lead the Management of the design work and construction activities during and complete the project. Develop the Project Responsibility Matrix (PRM). Project managers shall have experience in civil/transport infrastructure, utilities, and/or small – medium size commercial and/or residential buildings Oversee all project stages: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Develop plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and scope management. Lead, motivate, and manage diverse project teams (engineers, site staff, subcontractors). Identify risks, implement mitigation, and manage scope/change orders. Monitor costs and ensure strong financial reporting Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for senior management, clients, and authorities Attend coordination meetings, progress meetings and as well as executive meetings. Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day management of the construction project; monitor and coordinate work performed by architectural, engineering, and construction departments. Informs them of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill. Strong management capabilities in stakeholder relations and risk mitigation Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Degree in Engineering or Business-related discipline is required. Post Graduate education, such as an MSC or PHD, is highly desired. 5 - 7+ or more years of working on complex projects end-to-end within the Construction field. Must have prior experience working in UAE region. Project management experience in large-scale UAE civil/transport infrastructure projects Proven ability to lead, negotiate, and resolve complex issues Strong understanding of project management methodologies and construction methods Experience delivering projects using FIDIC contracts desirable Familiarity with UAE regulations and market dynamics Experience in contractual administration. Must have on-site Project experience from initial design through to handover and completion. Adequate work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Ability to think ahead, identify new opportunities and create new and innovative approaches to work-related issues. Familiar with Design (Space & Functional Analysis, Operators/ Client Liaison, cross-disciplinary issues/ coordination, construction interfaces, programming, cost, etc.). Strong Management of large teams and communication. Demonstrates a determination, desire to succeed and a wish to progress and develop within a commercial role. Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel and strong user skill level within MS Office or Primavera. Excellent numerical and communication skills.
