OVERVIEW

The Project Manager, Integrated Care is responsible for overseeing quality improvement initiatives and leading strategic projects within the Integrated Care portfolio. This role is pivotal in ensuring that patient care services are delivered with the highest level of quality, safety, and efficiency. The Project Manager will leverage their expertise to implement new projects at MGH and within East Toronto to support ongoing improvements and operational efficiency, focusing on patient-centered care, timely interventions, and effective resource utilization. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills, a strong ability to navigate and prioritize competing demands, and ability to work across internal and external stakeholder groups to implement projects.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in a healthcare or hospital setting. Clinical experience or familiarity with emergency department operations an asset. Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; ability to interact effectively with staff, physicians, and senior leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent ability to work effectively with diverse teams and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • Excellent ability to work independently and demonstrating initiative.
  • Good work and attendance.
