QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience managing interior fit-out projects in the UAE or the GCC region, specifically within the context of turnkey projects.
  • Experience with high-end commercial, retail, hospitality, or residential projects is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in Dubai/UAE.
  • Skills:
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination:
  • Develop and manage the project schedule, ensuring alignment with client requirements and expectations.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless integration of design and implementation.
  • Prepare detailed project plans, risk assessments, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on project status, challenges, and solutions.
  • Address and resolve any client concerns promptly.
  • Project Execution:
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the site, ensuring that work progresses according to the approved timeline.
  • Monitor the execution of interior fit-out works including partitioning, flooring, ceilings, lighting, furniture, and finishes.
  • Supervise the procurement and installation of materials, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with the project specifications.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring that work is carried out to required specifications and quality standards.
  • Cost and Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are monitored and controlled.
  • Ensure effective cost management and provide timely forecasts for project financials.
  • Review and approve payments, invoices, and change orders in accordance with the contract terms.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the quality of work is up to standard and that all specifications are met.
  • Manage site quality assurance and control processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
  • Lead and manage a team of project coordinators, engineers, designers, and contractors.
  • Organize team meetings, provide leadership, and ensure tasks are assigned and completed efficiently.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in project management processes.
  • Handover and Project Closeout:
  • Ensure timely completion of the project, including snagging and final inspections.
  • Prepare and review handover documentation and ensure all warranties, manuals, and maintenance schedules are provided to clients.
  • Facilitate smooth transition and handover to the client while maintaining a strong post-project relationship.
