Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our client.
Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $70 per hour
Location: Waterloo, ON
Location Type: Hybrid; 3 days on site – Tuesday to Thursday
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 5 PM

Job Responsibilities:

  • Daily Standups and Scrums: Participate in daily meetings with technical resources to resolve blockers and address challenges.
  • Senior Leadership Meetings: Regularly meet with senior leadership to review developed user stories and production progress, ensuring clear communication and reporting.
  • User Story Management: Collaborate with the team to create user stories, plan the backlog, and prioritize tasks for planning.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Negotiate and communicate effectively with leaders to align on project goals and deliverables.
  • Budget Management: Oversee a program budget of $1-3 million, ensuring projects stay within the allocated budget.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

  • Agile Expertise: 8+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.
  • SAFe certified: along with demonstrated experience leading large scale agile programs.
  • Technical Leadership: Ability to guide junior developers and provide direction on technical issues.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven experience working with senior-level stakeholders and managing high-visibility projects.
