We’re now looking for

SEVERAL PROJECT MANAGERS IN KONE IT

We are looking for experienced Project Managers to lead key IT initiatives across different domains. These roles are based in Espoo, Finland, and reporting to the Head of PMO.
As a Project Manager at KONE you will manage development and deployment projects on Commercial and Operations, or Technology and Services area IT Solutions. You will be working closely with KONE IT, Business, and local teams to ensure successful and timely delivery.
Your responsibilities include ensuring that project objectives are met within the approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality, using KONE’s project management methodology and tools. You will plan, manage, and coordinate project activities and interface with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

IN ALL ROLES KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES ARE:

  • Define, clarify and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders and the project team
  • Create an effective project plan, including tasks, schedule, budget, and dependencies
  • Manage and drive project execution with the team and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes according to the project plan
  • Manage changes to the project plan with the project governance
  • Lead and encourage the project team, including vendor resources, to meet expectations
  • Communicate clearly and promote collaboration for mutual success
  • Monitor project progress to enable benefit realization and take necessary actions to mitigate risks while maintaining transparency
  • Facilitate project governance and escalate issues related on need basis
  • Plan resource availability and competencies with line managers
  • Ensure project deliverables are prepared according to KONE processes
  • Efficient Change Management to ensure that the project outcomes are creating the targeted impact

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL ROLES:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of IT project management experience in a global environment
  • Good understanding of IT processes (e.g., ITIL).
  • Project Management certification (PMI or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience leading projects using Lean and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, presentation and communication skills, including stakeholder management and documentation.
  • Highly motivated team player with proactive problem-solving and active management style.
  • Ability to understand and prioritize customer value and help teams and team members to prioritize.
  • Experience managing change in uncertain and evolving situations with multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding and experience of Project Risk Management.
  • Experience working in a global environment with virtual teams is a clear advantage.
  • Fluent in English.
