GENERAL SUMMARY The Project Manager is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the successful delivery of web-based projects within an agile environment.  This role focuses on supporting cross-functional Scrum teams to plan, execute, and deliver high-quality digital products that meet business goals.  The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Agile (particularly Scrum) frameworks, solid communication and organizational skills, and an understanding of traditional waterfall project management principles    ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP The Project Manager reports to the Director, Project Management, IT, and collaborates closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, Development, Marketing, and Operations teams.  This position serves as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities, progress, and deliverables.  The role may also involve coordination with external vendors or digital agencies as needed.   DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Manage and facilitate web development projects following the Scrum Agile Framework 2. Work with product owners and stakeholders to ensure clarity of requirements, priorities, and acceptance criteria 3. Support sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives 4. Track spring progress, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure delivery of committed work 5. Communicate project updates, metrics, and potential issues to leadership and stakeholders 6. Support backlog grooming, release planning, and cross-team coordination for larger initiatives 7. Apply traditional project management principles (waterfall) where appropriate for planning, budgeting, or integration with non-Agile teams 8. Identify opportunities for process improvement and help evolve Agile practices within the team and organization    QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field * 5-7 Years of Project Management experience, with direct experience managing projects in Agile (Scrum) environments * Familiarity with Waterfall methodologies and ability to interface with teams or stakeholders using traditional frameworks. * Demonstrated success managing web or digital development projects with cross-functional teams. * Strong understanding of Agile Principles, Scrum Roles, Ceremonies, and Artifacts * Solid knowledge of Web technologies, development lifecycles, and quality assurance processes * Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills * Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency with Project Management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms. * Agile Certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) preferred; PMP a plus     WORKING CONDITIONS This role follows a hybrid working model, with a base out of one of the following Preferred Travel Group office locations: Chicago, IL; Newport Beach, CA; New York, NY; or Washington DC. Associates are generally expected to work from the office a minimum of 3 days per week, allowing for a balance of in-person collaboration and flexible remote working. Remote working conditions will be considered for candidates who are not located near a Preferred Travel Group office.
