Job Title: Senior Project Manager (IT)

Scope: The Government of Alberta’s Technology and Innovation ministry is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead a large-scale SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online migration across various ministries. The role involves working with stakeholders, managing project complexities, and integrating SharePoint into the Microsoft 365 (M365) suite while ensuring enterprise content management standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Technical Project Manage

• Lead and coordinate SharePoint migration projects, ensuring deadlines, responsibilities, and progress tracking.
• Develop project charters, business plans, and IT solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Manage multiple projects, resources, and governance, ensuring stakeholder communication and risk mitigation.
• Prepare deliverables and reports for senior leadership and project stakeholders.
• Establish project organization structures, roles, and responsibilities.
• Oversee project schedules, resource allocation, risk assessment, and change management.
• Ensure project objectives are met and identify areas for improvement in future projects.
