On behalf of our public sector client, Procom is searching for a Senior Project Manager for a long-term contract role. This position is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton, Alberta office.

PROJECT MANAGER (IT) - SENIOR - JOB DESCRIPTION:

Court Technology Services within the Alberta Courts is seeking a Project Manager to lead the design and implementation of various technology delivery projects, with a primary focus on the Point of Sales modernization project. The project aims to address the limitations of the current POS system to meet evolving service expectations and security requirements.

PROJECT MANAGER (IT) - SENIOR - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Experience in project management within IT delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in risk and change management
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and presentations
  • Experience with financial modeling and cost-benefit analyses
  • Knowledge of PCI-DSS standards and cybersecurity policies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

PROJECT MANAGER (IT) - SENIOR – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with SaaS and on-premises deployment models
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory
  • Understanding of data residency requirements in Canada
  • Background in public sector or court systems
