ABOUT US:

Our Projects and Development Services (PDS) team provide corporate and institutional clients with the management of design, construction, and relocation services to minimise risk and eliminate unnecessary cost.
Projects range from greenfield developments to major fit outs and refurbishments, from single one-off projects to state, national multi-site and regional roll-out projects requiring consistent nationwide delivery.
As one of the largest project management firms in Australia with a team of over 320 professional staff, we operate in sectors including commercial, industrial, education, data centres, hotels, retail, and defence.

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Project or Construction Management or related discipline with 6+ years’ experience, OR
10+ years’ experience in Design, Construction, or Project Management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Microsoft Project
Strong understanding of project delivery methods
Experience with ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO9001 standards
Commercial negotiation skills
Ability to manage client relationships and foster repeat business

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Project and Development Services team. The successful candidate will take total responsibility for the effective management of all phases of multiple projects from initial establishment to handover and project closure, typically managing 5-8 projects at various stages.

SNAPSHOT OF THE ROLES:

Understand key project drivers, client requirements and what success looks like on each project
Effectively manage project stakeholders
Effective and progressive prioritisation of tasks
Be able to effectively run project in the absence of the Senior Project Manager or Director.
Prepare project delivery plans, monthly status reports, and anticipated cost reports
Establish project budgets and manage expenditure
Create detailed project programmes with clear milestones
Chair project meetings and ensure timely documentation
Lead tender preparation, contract negotiation and administration
Conduct value engineering and buildability analysis
Manage variations and approvals
Implement JLL Health Safety and Environmental systems
Assemble and lead consultants, contractors, and suppliers
Manage project closeout and financial reconciliation
