JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee various projects within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Carpentry and Joinery with a proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Carpentry Joinery: 10 years (required)
  • UK Project Management: 5 years (required
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and implement changes as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Utilise Project management tools for tracking project status and resource allocation like Asite, Acanax or Procor.
  • Conduct regular meetings with team members to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.
  • Employ cost control measures to manage budgets effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Apply time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Facilitate communication between teams microsoft teams or similar.
  • Ensure adherence to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles throughout the project execution.
  • Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management roles, preferably within the carpentry joinery industry.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Workday for resource management is advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proficient in cost control techniques and budget management.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in product development processes is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
