Responsible for the delivery of one specific project in line policies, procedures, EHSQ and targets. This is a fulltime site-based role. Role may incorporate foreman responsibilities on smaller projects. It reports directly to a Contracts Manager or Operations Manager. Liaise daily with the Contract Manager, Client site team, Foreman, Project Engineers and specialist sub-contractors.

3 SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

3.2 5 years post qualification experience in Construction/Project Management

2.1 Attend project start up meetings.
2.2 Become familiar with all details and specifications of the project.
2.3 Ultimately responsible for collating technical submittals ensuring they are issued, followed through until approval.
2.4 Raising and manage RFI’s.
2.5 Manage labour tracker.
2.6 Subject line of all emails to include the job nr at the start.
2.7 Progress Report to be maintained weekly.
2.8 Report and manage any changes/variations.
2.9 Resourcing -responsible for direct and specialist sub con
2.10 Liaison with main contractors and the client-based site team
2.11 Coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment
2.12 Ensure adequate materials are always available to complete the project.
2.13 Update program gains/losses to Con Manager weekly
2.14 Ensure construction and commissioning programmes are in place for the job.
2.15 Implementing the commission plan on site.
2.16 Generate biweekly/monthly snag list and improvements.
2.17 Manage handover process.
2.18 Maintaining Document Management System.
2.19 Manage relevant external correspondence.
2.20 Project specific scheduling.
2.21 Meetings as required with Sub Contractors to ensure on time delivery.
2.22 Communicate/Coordinate with full project team.
2.23 Attend general site meetings and action points raised.
2.24 Communicate any innovative project specific works to Contracts Manager (R&D).
2.25 If you don’t have a CM on the job you will be responsible for developing the construction and commissioning programmes.
