Job Title: Deputy Project Manager / Project Manager – CFS/IBMS Location: Mumbai (Sometimes travel to Surat or other site locations in Maharashtra ) Payroll: Johnson Controls India (JCI) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Deputy Project Manager with a strong background in CFS/IBMS projects, preferably in Commercial & Industrial Projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in project execution, testing, commissioning, and delivery of IBMS systems for large-scale projects. The role will be based in Mumbai and requires frequent travel to project sites in Surat and Maharashtra. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end execution of IBMS/CFS projects. Manage project planning, scheduling, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and adherence to timelines and budgets. Handle stakeholder communication and provide regular project status updates. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, project standards, and JCI quality guidelines. Support project documentation, risk management, and change management activities. Drive timely closure of project punch points and successful project sign-off. Required Experience & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related Engineering discipline. 8–15 years of experience in execution and project management of IBMS/CFS projects. PMP candidate is preferred, MS project knowledge, Primavera Hands-on expertise in: Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS) Fire Alarm Systems Access Control Systems CCTV & Surveillance Systems PA System Building Automation Systems (BMS) Proven experience in Testing & Commissioning and project delivery. Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple project activities across locations. Preferred Profile Experience managing RIL/L&T/Adani projects from execution through commissioning. Familiarity with industry standards, project management practices, and customer-facing roles.
