Together with our client, a medium-sized Munich-based company in the field of process plant engineering, we are filling the position in Munich

Project Manager* / Project Engineer*

They combine technical expertise with economic thinking and ensure that sophisticated components and processes are reliably, efficiently and with high quality transferred into series production.

Your tasks

  • Planning and engineering of series components including technical design and support of implementation
  • Preparation of cost calculations, offers and technical assessments
  • Conducting manufacturability analyses (individual to small series)
  • Optimization of manufacturing and process costs as well as reduction of lead times and throughput times.
  • Handling technical complaints and instructing appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
  • Ensuring, maintaining and further developing the QM system according to DIN ISO 9001
  • Close collaboration with development, purchasing, production, logistics and quality assurance
  • Coordination and alignment with national and international stakeholders, clients and project partners
  • Technical support for existing customers and assistance in building new customer relationships
  • Support in the acquisition, industrialization and implementation of new projects

Your qualifications

  • Several years of experience in technical project management and independent project execution
  • Completed studies in process engineering, manufacturing or production engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Confident handling of technical, economic and quality-related requirements in series production projects
  • Experience in collaborating with national and international project partners, clients and stakeholders
  • Technical understanding in process plant engineering
  • Experience with quality and safety standards as well as QMS - especially ISO 9001
  • Project management certification, for example according to IPMA, PMI or PRINCE2
  • Ability to evaluate complex technical relationships in a structured manner and to communicate them in an understandable way
  • Strong communication skills, team orientation, and a pronounced customer focus
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
  • A high degree of responsibility, commitment, and economic thinking
  • Excellent German and English skills (B2 level or higher) in both spoken and written form.
