Job Details Job Location: Administration Office - San Francisco, CA 94103 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $35.00 - $55.00 Hourly Project Management Consultant Position Title: Project Management Consultant Organization: Kai Ming, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides free full-day full-year and full-day part-year Head Start and Early Head Start services to eligible children ages 0-5 years old in San Francisco, CA with funding from Head Start, the California Department of Education, First 5 San Francisco and San Francisco Office of Early Care & Education. Job Type: Consultant Report to: Executive Director Job: The Project Management Consultant, plays a critical role in designing, implementing, coordinating and expanding projects at Kai Ming Head Start. This role is ideal for a mission-driven, organized, and collaborative professional dedicated to improving outcomes for children and families. Essential Duties: Preferred 3 - 5 years of project management experience Support with project management based on agency operation needs Collaborate with various departments and provide support in planning, scheduling, coordinating and implementation of the specific projects Collaborate with management to develop and oversee timelines to deliver completed projects on time and on budget Enhance internal and external communications at different levels Facilitate special stakeholder input sessions including focus groups, surveys, interviews, polls, or other stakeholder engagement activities Provide coordinations and facilitation for committees and workgroups Support the development and promotion of early learning programs and initiatives Stay up to date on federal and state early childhood legislative and administrative policy that affect young children’s healthy development and early learning Research and prepare informational materials, factsheets, outreach materials, etc. to be used to educate and increase awareness about early learning programs Work closely with the office team and center staff to support effective policy and procedures to strengthen the quality of early learning programs at the agency Participate in all coalition led public awareness activities to support early childhood education issues and priorities Support community engagement and advocacy efforts in assignment with agency goals Develop effective working relationship with federal, state, and local early childhood education partners Collaborate with other organizations on joint initiatives including Transitional Kindergarten and other collective projects for the field Support the implementation and goals of the workforce development program Prepare reports and presentations that utilize charts and tables Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Prefer candidate with Associate’s degree, but not required Must exhibit strong English reading and writing skills Excellent project management skills and follow through in details Excellent organization & customer service Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication ethic and skill Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom Other Requirements: TB Clearance every 2 years Physical exam every 2 years Valid immunization records (MMR, Tdap, Flu shot) Criminal Background Clearance (FBI, DOJ and Child Abuse Index) Sex Offender Registry Check Clearance Must adhere to the “Confidentiality Agreements” Adherence to the Child Abuse Reporting Mandate Adhere to the Kai Ming Code of Conduct and all other internal policies and procedures.
