SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager - Mitigation to join our Large and Complex Loss team in Vancouver Island. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing mitigation projects for our Large Loss division, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while upholding our commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Detailed understanding of project management techniques.
  • Solid understanding of Mitigation techniques and strategies.
  • Relevant trades qualifications.
  • Project management qualifications desirable
  • Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction in the Province of British Columbia, With CCDC Contract knowledge a bonus.
  • Hold a valid BC Driver’s License with a clean abstract. Any post-employment license infractions will be reviewed as they occur.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage mitigation projects from inception to completion.
  • Promote & build the DKI brand; identify, investigate and pursue new opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.
  • Prepare detailed estimates and manage contracts effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status and any changes.
