PROJECT MANAGER – ENABLING AND EARTHWORKS

Location: Suffolk (Full time on site)
Join the exciting journey of one of the UK’s largest nuclear projects at Sizewell C!
The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to support the successful delivery of the Sizewell C Project.
CWA, appointed by the Sizewell C client, brings together three leading delivery contractors — Laing O’Rourke, Bouygues, and Balfour Beatty — to deliver the civils scope including Enabling Earthworks, Main Civil Works, and Marine and Tunnelling.
We are looking for a Project Manager to manage and deliver multiple heavy civil works such as major earthworks, stockpile management, platform installation for piling and cranage, infrastructure setup, heavy-duty FRC slabs, drainage, and water management in a dynamic, live environment. The candidate must provide strategic operational management with strong leadership, overseeing a multidisciplined team across a large site, while mentoring junior teams and maintaining clear, effective communication both internally and with the client

WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Essential:

  • Proficient in Primavera P6 planning software.
  • Degree or industry-recognised qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience developing and managing construction programmes in a civil engineering environment, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Some experience with planning reinforced concrete works.

Desirable:

  • Membership of CIOB or MICE.
  • Experience with 4D/Synchro modelling.
