The position benefits from strong stormwater and hydrologic/hydraulic expertise to support cross-discipline projects, while remaining flexible in scope and not limited to stormwater-only practice. Occasional travel to client sites and regional offices may be required.We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related engineering disciplineRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas, or ability to obtain within 6 months5–10 years of relevant land development engineering experience in the following areas:Private-sector commercial, residential, and mixed-use land developmentPreparing engineering reports, civil construction plans, and permitting submittalsCoordinating small to mid-sized design teams and managing client interactionsProviding land development engineering services in TexasSupporting proposal preparation and fee developmentStormwater analysis, site drainage, and civil design standards3-6 years of project management experienceProficiency with relevant software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and common hydrologic/hydraulic modeling toolsMust possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travelPreferred Qualifications:Central Texas market experience, particularly the San Antonio and Austin regionsFamiliarity with local and state permitting agencies and development regulationsExperience with proposal writing and client-facing presentationsExperience delivering private site development and public works projects, including street, drainage, and utility design, as stand-alone assignments or as part of multidisciplinary project teamsAdditional InformationCompensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
