What You'll Own Manage fast-track retail construction projects from pre-construction through closeout and handoff — on time, on budget, without drama Oversee scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and trade sequencing in environments where speed and precision aren't optional Represent the owner's interests across planning, design, and field execution Collaborate with internal teams on preliminary budgets, risk analysis, and site surveys during pre-construction Maintain quality control across project phases and hold subcontractors accountable to scope and schedule Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and confident throughout construction Leverage modern project management technology — digital plan collaboration, scheduling platforms, and 3D virtual tools are part of how this team works Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in how projects are planned and delivered Demonstrated experience managing fast-track retail construction projects — this is the core of the role Strong command of project scheduling, subcontractor management, and field coordination Comfort operating in a national general contractor environment with multiple simultaneous projects or rollouts A client-first mindset — you understand that relationships are as important as results Proficiency with modern construction management technology and project platforms The ability to manage competing priorities and keep projects moving when obstacles arise Local presence in the Greater Twin Cities area — this role is based in Minnesota Compensation to be confirmed Work with a nationally recognized firm that is a proud member of the Retail Contractors Association A full project lifecycle role with pre-construction involvement — not just field babysitting Long-tenured client relationships that reflect the firm's reputation for doing things right Access to cutting-edge construction technology tools across all phases of a project
