On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager/Leader - Senior for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

PROJECT MANAGER/LEADER - SENIOR - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Project Manager/Leader - Senior will oversee the Immunization Repository Consolidation project, a high-profile initiative within the Health Services Cluster. This role involves managing the project to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery while adhering to OPS project management methodologies.

PROJECT MANAGER/LEADER - SENIOR - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Extensive experience with Service Management and Systems Support Design
  • Proven experience in data migration strategies and leading data migration projects
  • Experience with private and public-sector technology delivery in clinical settings
  • 5-9 years of experience in project management for IT Health-related solutions
  • Ability to identify, articulate, and prioritize issues and risks at senior executive levels

PROJECT MANAGER/LEADER - SENIOR – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with OPS/e-Health Ontario Gating process
  • Experience with change management strategies
  • Knowledge of OPS Unified I&IT Project Methodology
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Provide project management for the Immunization Repository Consolidation project
  • Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements on time, scope, and budget
  • Interact with senior staff and external partners to manage relationships
  • Lead strategy development, business planning, and funding requests
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule and integrated plan
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate resource changes
  • Manage large project budgets and ensure fiscal control
  • Use project management tools for data recording and reporting
  • Create and update the Integrated Project Management Plan (IPP)
  • Monitor project progress and report on critical path activities
  • Identify and manage issues and risks, recommending mitigation strategies
  • Prepare business transformation and adoption plans
  • Provide project reporting to senior executive levels
  • Promote OPS I&IT standards and best practices
