A leading commercial mechanical contractor in Central Ohio is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale mechanical projects across commercial, institutional, medical, and industrial sectors. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in mechanical contracting or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and industrial mechanical systems.
  • Proven track record managing commercial, institutional, or healthcare construction projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
  • Ability to lead multiple teams and manage complex budgets and schedules.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery. You’ll be responsible for overseeing project schedules, budgets, subcontractor management, and quality control. Reporting to executive leadership, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and deliver large-scale mechanical projects, from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Lead project scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Directly oversee field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain progress and resolve challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and local building codes.
  • Review, negotiate, and manage project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, clients, trade partners, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee quality control and on-site inspections to ensure top-tier workmanship.
