Description About the role: We’re seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager with a strong background in environmental remediation, waste management, and industrial maintenance services. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects safely, efficiently, and within budget. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with Sales, Business Development, Field Operations, and Health, Safety teams to manage customer relationships, scope projects, and ensure operational excellence from kickoff through completion. Requirements Responsibilities: Lead and Manage Projects: Plan, organize, and oversee all phases of environmental and industrial service projects — from proposal to completion — ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Customer Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and expand strong client relationships. Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts and project updates. Project Scoping & Estimating: Define project scope, develop cost estimates, and ensure optimal utilization of labor, equipment, and materials. Team Leadership: Motivate, coach, and direct field personnel, subcontractors, and partners to ensure accountability, quality performance, and adherence to safety protocols. Budget & P&L Oversight: Maintain full responsibility for project financial performance, including job costing, forecasting, and profitability tracking. Safety & Compliance: Champion health and safety initiatives on every project, ensuring compliance with company standards and environmental regulations. Change Management: Proactively manage changes in scope, identify risks, and develop contingency plans. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Field Service Coordinator and Sales/BD teams to allocate resources and schedule manpower and equipment efficiently. Reporting & Documentation: Conduct post-project reviews, track KPIs, and generate summary reports to highlight lessons learned and process improvements. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance project execution, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Experience: 5–10 years of environmental project management or industrial services experience, preferably in remedial construction, waste services, or field services. Proven experience managing multiple complex projects, budgets, and client accounts simultaneously. Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage contractors, and influence cross-functional stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project management software a plus.
