Description

Manage the successful delivery of civil engineering and water infrastructure projects from mobilisation through to handover.
Take overall responsibility for programme, cost, quality, health & safety and project performance.
Manage projects involving water mains, wastewater networks, drainage, pumping stations, treatment infrastructure and associated civil works.
Manage site teams including Site Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
Coordinate subcontractor procurement, appointments, sequencing and performance.
Review construction drawings, specifications, technical submissions, RAMS and project documentation.
Manage project programmes and monitor progress against key milestones.
Identify programme, commercial and technical risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
Work closely with the commercial team on project costs, variations, claims, valuations and contractual correspondence.
Ensure accurate project records are maintained throughout the project.
Oversee temporary works, traffic management, road opening requirements, utility coordination and permits where applicable.
Manage testing, commissioning, snagging and project handover requirements.
Chair project progress meetings and provide regular reports to senior management and the client.
Ensure projects comply with all relevant Irish health, safety and environmental legislation.
