JOB DESCRIPTION

For over 15 years, Living Edge Design Ltd. has built a reputation for being a leading high-end millwork manufacturer for custom homes in the Sea to Sky corridor and throughout BC. Our expert craftspeople specialize in creating bespoke kitchen & bars, bathrooms, media units, and other eye-catching woodwork that transform spaces into our client’s dream homes. We’re looking for a detailed project manager to help ensure our projects are delivered on time and on budget.
While this position is currently for a six-month contract, there is lots of room for growth, and the role could easily develop into a permanent, full time role.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and Owner, the project manager will oversee the lifecycle of a millwork project, from design and shop drawings, to production, finishing, and installation. The project manager will collaborate with our management team to develop project budgets and schedules, work with our design and documentation team to ensure drawings are issued on time, and collect feedback from clients, documenting notes for potential change orders.
Once production has begun, you will work closely with our shop manager to make sure that the project is being produced correctly, in a timely manner, and coordinating with our finisher to get materials finished and ready for delivery.
During installation, you will be responsible for travelling to site, installation progress and make sure things are running smoothly and on schedule. You’ll communicate updates with the client, taking feedback and issuing change orders as needed. Once install is complete, you’ll be a part of the quality control process, working through checklists and leading the final sign-off meeting.
Pay Range: $34+/hour, depending on experience.
