JOB TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead and manage change initiatives across our Core Platforms. This role is responsible for driving high-performance delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and maintaining strong governance and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven expertise in change and project management within Agile delivery environments.
  • Practical experience managing sprint-based deliveries and Agile ceremonies.
  • Strong understanding of change management methods and tools, particularly Barclays’ Change Management framework.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and networking skills.
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities with a focus on business-critical solutions.
  • High-level understanding of the interface between complex business needs and regulatory environments.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and execute effectively under pressure.
  • Sound commercial judgment and understanding of the Financial Services industry.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all projects and programmes across Core Platforms, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Define and own the content, direction, and execution of change projects.
  • Create and maintain delivery plans based on Product Owner roadmaps and Kanban boards.
  • Establish and drive delivery disciplines, cadence, and standards for feature teams.
  • Own and resolve issues, blockers, and risks, collaborating with others as needed.
  • Provide accurate and timely delivery status reporting.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including running RFPs and overseeing contract negotiations.
  • Control financial resources, including forecasting, tracking actuals, and managing budgets.
  • Ensure product delivery meets time, cost, and quality expectations.
  • Engage the wider organisation to secure governance approvals and align support with feature team needs.
