The suitable candidate will be a qualified natural team player who can add significant value to this highly dynamic team.Job DescriptionDoka Australia is currently seeking a Project Manager to join the LSP/CIVIL Team and be the central point of contact for clients on large scale projects. This position is responsible for Managing, leading and giving guidance to the local back office team to ensure the project is exceeding its targeted profit & loss budget, through pro-active cost control and claim management.The Accountabilities for this position include; Management and leadership on designated CIVIL and Large Scale Projects.Managing Doka engineering effort at a local, area and HQ level.Ensuring that the profit & loss budget on the defined projects is exceeded through active claim management.Documentation and sign offs on any variations (i.e. services, damages, reconditioning) throughout the project.Create additional sales revenue through after sales & components.Liaise with sales to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives for projects.Actively drive the offer once the project reaches final offer stage, in particular ensuring that the contract and internal documentation processes have been executed.Actively drive the Victori 3 forecasting and material demand planning process.Manages projects in a co-operative style with key stakeholders within the business and also external stakeholders relevant to the projectActively promote and delegate tasks for key projects to ensure each department and relevant team member understands their role in the project and what is expected of themActively communicate with all relevant stakeholders involved in the project to ensure that problems are solved in a timely manner, decisions are made efficiently and feedback is provided throughout the project management process.Actively implement conflict management and resolution techniques to sort out issues on the project.Represent the company in a professional way that promotes the Doka brand.Ensures compliance with internal standards.This position will be based at Doka's office at Stapylton in Queensland, Australia.    QualificationsTo be successful in this position you must have the following: Engineering degree or diploma, and minimum 5 years work experience in Engineering. Project management degree or diploma, and minimum 5 years experience in Project Management.  Additional InformationIf you would like to apply for this position please send your application to [email protected]
