GÖTTINGEN, GERMANY

Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.
In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.

Your tasks:

• Leading complex product development projects from conception to series production
• Planning, controlling, and monitoring transfer projects to international locations
• Ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Coordinating interdisciplinary teams and external partners
• Risk management and problem-solving in a dynamic environment
• Close collaboration with development, production, and sales departments
• Preparing reports and presentations for management and customers

Your profile:

• Completed studies in engineering, physics, optics, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in leading product development projects, ideally in the field of optics or semiconductor equipment products
• Experience in managing transfer projects and collaborating with international locations
• In-depth knowledge of project management
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High level of teamwork, conflict resolution, assertiveness, resilience, and flexibility
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel and intercultural competence
