Description
Responsibilities
  • Schedule internal and external products / material delivery in cooperation with the site manager / installations
  • Develop logistics plan for delivery of all ext/int products/materials on time and in correct sequence at installation site
  • Maintain and continuously update logistics plan in light of project changes
  • Plan & manage quality controls for all products at factory before being packaged & forwarded (ex-works)
  • Re-confirm correct packaging according to DEMATIC packing standard guidelines at factory (ex-work)
  • Confirm pick-up dates and handling by local freight/forwarding company
  • Confirm handling & shipping dates by external suppliers
  • Track incoming materials from external suppliers and ensure correct order sequence
  • Check all goods incoming on site
  • Develop contingency plans in case of delivery delays & quality issues
