Position Overview
The Project Manager will manage cross-functional projects that support continuous improvement, process optimization, and timely delivery of high-quality interior surfacing solutions. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of manufacturing environments, thrives in a team-oriented culture, and brings a results-driven approach to project execution.
This in-person role is located at our manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY, and will report to the Director of Operations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 2-3 years of project management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • PMP certification.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge and/or training in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and departments.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the manufacturing floor for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to manufacturing environments, including noise and temperature variations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities
  • Lead with Purpose and Excellence:
  • Manage a portfolio of strategic projects that improve production capabilities, drive operational efficiency, and support Koroseal’s position as a premium manufacturer.

  • Planning and Design:
  • Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, setting objectives, creating schedules and allocating resources.
  • Tracking project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions.

  • Partner closely with production, engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and corporate teams to align project objectives with plant and company-wide goals.
  • Promote open communication, shared accountability, and collaborative problem-solving to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Ensure all projects are executed with the end-user in mind—delivering quality, consistency, and value.
  • Collaborate with commercial and quality teams to implement changes that enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
