What you'll do Project Management: Manage complex multi-faceted projects in a product-focused organisation, working alongside Product Owners and Technical Leads. Work with the MB Strategic Bid team and the PMO to translate customer requirements into actionable project delivery plans. Planning: Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Monitor Success: Monitor and control project progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively develop solutions. Lead: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration and timely execution of tasks. Communicate: Manage project communication, including status reporting, stakeholder management, and escalation of issues as needed. Adhere to standards: Ensure project goals, objectives, and requirements are met while adhering to industry regulations and standards. Manage budgets: Manage budgeting and financial tracking, including budget forecasts. Manage change: Develop and implement change management plans as necessary, and in accordance with customer commitments. Innovate: Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in project management and agile working. Who you are Project Management Experience: 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the telecommunications, space or technology industry or regulated manufacturing. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects within scope, budget, and timelines. Methodology: Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Risk: Extensive experience in risk management, change management, and stakeholder management. Problem-solving: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Software: Proficiency in project management software. Technical Acumen: Ability to understand complex technical concepts related to optical communications, satellite systems, or high-speed data transfer. Experience in electronics, optics, or systems engineering is highly desirable. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences, and to foster strong cross-functional collaboration. Customer Focused: Focused on the needs of the customer in devising and executing project plans, and in communications with the wider MB team. Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect detailed product work to overarching strategic objectives and company vision. Desirable Skills & Experience Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification Working within an Agile delivery framework, including with tools such as Jira, Confluence. Nice to Have Master's degree in Space Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Familiarity with ECSS (European Co-operation for Space Standards), Aerospace standards, space technologies and space industry trends Experience working in a research and development environment.
