Project Manager (Medicaid) Location: Columbia, SC Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) Interview Process: 1 round, Virtual/Online Duration: 12 Months Employment Type: Contract Experience Required: 05+ Years Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense. Project Scope: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support multiple IT initiatives within the Medicaid domain. The role involves end-to-end project coordination, stakeholder management, and delivery oversight across complex healthcare IT projects. Key Responsibilities: · Gather and assist in developing business and technical requirements. · Develop comprehensive project plans and ensure execution aligns with timelines and objectives. · Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies. · Track and ensure timely completion of all deliverables with high quality standards. · Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and management. · Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders across multiple levels. · Maintain project documentation including plans, schedules, metrics, and reports. · Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users. · Support multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. Required Skills & Experience: · 5+ years of Project Management experience. · 3+ years of experience in healthcare insurance or Medicaid IT projects. · Strong experience in project planning, effort estimation, and resource allocation. · Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Skills: · Experience with Medicaid or healthcare delivery systems. · PMP certification (preferred but not mandatory). · Strong exposure to healthcare IT environments. · MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
