Description Summary: Messerli Kramer, an established Twin Cities law firm since 1965, is looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our team in Plymouth, MN. The Project Manager is responsible for key areas of focus within our Collections Department, working alongside the Assistant Manager and 4 Collection Supervisors. This position reports to the Director of Operations. This is an operations-focused Project Manager responsible for inventory strategy, workflow design, and execution of targeted operational initiatives. The role offers a welcome balance between regular routine duties and overseeing the execution of new projects as business needs dictate. Essential Functions and Duties: Own inventory management and workflow strategy, ensuring critical queues are appropriately staffed based on capacity and priorities. Assign out new placements to staff based on observed capacity, performance trends, and operational priorities. Serve as the decision-maker for account ownership questions, publishing guidance to drive consistency and educate staff. Conduct interviews of prospective candidates for the department as needed. Daily interactions with staff, answering questions, providing feedback on ideas or requests Monitor policy adherence. Redirect staff based on observations. Competencies: Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously with differing levels of urgency Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data Able to perform well in the face of tight deadlines and challenges Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and accountability Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent analytical thinking and organization skills Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel as well as other standard Microsoft products: Outlook, OneNote, Teams Work Environment and Physical Demands: This role operates in a professional office setting, routinely working with standard office equipment.
