We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Project Management team.
The ideal candidate should have strong project execution experience in managing plant delivery projects with proven ability and capability to develop and manage teams, communicate effectively, and identify and resolve constraints ensuring definite customer satisfaction
An energetic and proactive person with a proven track record of achieving high-level results, efficiency, and an eye for accuracy will be the ideal candidate.
The job location is based in Espoo, Finland. We have a hybrid model, which means that you can work remotely but we also like to see you at the office.
What you’ll do
Acts as a project manager in solution delivery sales and execution of EPS projects, typical project size is for PM 10-100M€.
Plans and leads the projects so that financial, schedule, and quality objectives, and also customer satisfaction, are achieved, and contractual requirements are fulfilled
Monthly reporting of projects’ status to stakeholders, e.g. steering group
Operates as an interface between Metso´s and customer’s project execution and ensures good customer relationship
Manages Change Orders effectively
Identifies “add-on” sales opportunities during project execution
Who You Are
The Project Manager is a specialist in project implementation, backed up with relevant qualifications in industry-standard project implementation techniques and a good understanding of the entire project sequence, from engineering to successful start-up.
You can proactively manage large projects with several sub-projects
The Project Manager recognizes possible threats to project success and accepts outside factors that influence the project.
The Project Manager has to be able to make decisions, solve problems regarding the project, and carry the responsibility for the results.
The Project Manager’s actions are steered by a demand for optimal performance which calls for time deliveries, quality, cost efficiency, and schedule management.
The Project Manager has to be able to inspire and motivate project personnel also during stressful periods in the project.
Good leadership skills include being emphatic and recognizing factors that motivate the project personnel.
