What You'll Be Accountable For Delivering Projects Right — The First Time You will lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality are aligned and executed with precision. * Coordinate internal teams and field leadership * Keep projects progressing smoothly through each phase * Documentation is accurate Manage Financial Performance You will own cost control, forecasting, change management, and reporting. * Monitor budgets and forecasts * Manage change orders and cost reporting * Identify risks early and address them proactively Holding the Standard with Subcontractors You set clear expectations, enforce commitments, and follow through. * Work meets project specifications. * Address challenges constructively * Maintain strong, professional working relationships Managing Risk Before It Becomes a Problem * Decisions are based on data, not assumptions. * Maintain a high standard of quality and compliance * Escalate concerns early The Environment * Fast-paced, with a focus on accuracy and follow-through * Technical and detail-oriented * Professional and business-focused * Structured with clear expectations You’ll have the opportunity to use your expertise, analyze information carefully, and make informed decisions that protect both the project and the client. QUALIFICATIONS * 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience * Mission Critical experience preferred * Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control, procurement, and documentation * Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software (P6 or MS Project) * Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts * OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain) * Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred CAREER PATH AND GROWTH At Boyd Jones, advancement is based on demonstrated performance, leadership, and technical mastery.
