Job Details Job Location: Franklin Park, IL 60131 Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 Salary Job Shift: Any The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing the execution of complex projects from order release through installation. The PM is accountable for managing projects and their subsequent deliverables throughout the production workflow, to project completion, delivery, and installation. PMs understand all of Moss’s in-house and out-sourced capabilities and know the step-by-step details required to deliver a successful project. They supervise the final QC and packing of the product. They may also perform supervision of the installation project. The PM discipline also involves understanding financial aspects of a project including, ongoing budget to actuals management, identifying and managing scope creep, and protecting final project margin. The PM will consult on projects during the solutions development and estimating phase, monitor change orders and schedule, and coordinate with Strategic Account Managers, technical design, production managers, and purchasing to ensure that all milestones are met on schedule. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manages price quote administration by translating design decks and concepts into take offs to create accurate and comprehensive price quotes. Works on projects during solutions development and estimating phase, monitor change orders and schedule and coordinates with internal teams as needed. Drafts project timelines and work-back schedules, as well as route deliverables through all departments to keep all projects on schedule within an overarching project timeline. Facilitates Project Put-to-Work meetings and check-in meetings for large scale projects to align cost assumptions, resources, timelines and to ensure that all milestones are met on schedule. Collects information needed to create an accurate and complete work order. Manages the customer approval process to ensure that the customer is aware of the lead times, submittal requirements, deadlines, and applicable rush fees. Ensures all commercial signoffs from the customer are in place, including purchase orders, change orders, and submittals. May be required to supervise the final assembly, QC, and the packing of the product. Answers questions from Moss Operations departments to ensure that the product meets customer expectations. Performs account and contact maintenance in Moss Operating System and Salesforce. Participates in customer and prospect meetings. Oversees assigned projects from initial opportunity, final customer design approval, contract execution, production, packing, transportation, installation, and invoicing. Keeping all departments touching the project advised of status. Maintains all required documentation such as change orders, approvals, scheduling, and client files in Moss OS. Understand Moss’s in-house and out-sourced capabilities and know the step-by-step details required to deliver a successful project. Responsible for training and day-to day management of the Project Coordinator if assigned to them. Works closely with outside service and product providers to ensure project success. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Four-year college degree or equivalent related job experience. Outstanding oral and written communication skills both with internal team members and external customers and prospects. Minimum of three years of project management experience in fast-paced, high demand, high quality environment. PC proficiency with Microsoft Office Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Experience reading blueprints and design decks This position may require travel to inspect installations.
