The Role


You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the planning, delivery and governance of complex IT and technology projects.
  • Managing project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, dependencies and delivery outcomes.
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, risk registers, implementation plans, stakeholder plans and status reporting.
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams across business, infrastructure, engineering, technology and external vendors.
  • Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and key decisions, including appropriate escalation and mitigation.
  • Engaging senior stakeholders and providing clear reporting on progress, risks, achievements and emerging concerns.
  • Supporting the evaluation and delivery of emerging technologies that improve capability, security, efficiency and user experience.
  • Facilitating workshops to gather requirements, resolve issues and support technical and business decision-making.
  • Managing project budgets, contracts and vendor relationships.
  • Supporting change, implementation and transition of new capabilities into operational services.
  • Ensuring delivery aligns with relevant governance, security, procurement, risk and legislative requirements.
  • Promoting a highly collaborative, accountable and delivery-focused team culture.

About You


To be successful, you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience planning, managing and delivering IT projects.
  • Strong experience delivering technical ICT projects within complex enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects within agreed time, cost, scope and quality parameters.
  • Experience working with multiple project delivery methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strong vendor and commercial management experience.
  • Ability to analyse complex information, refine requirements and translate business needs into technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience building and working within mature, high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of high-quality project and governance documentation.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a strong focus on delivery, accountability and team culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes within legislative, governance and policy frameworks.
