PROJECT MANAGER – HVAC, MECHANICAL & PLUMBING

Location: North West, mobile position, office - BB12 7PN
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
An experienced Project Manager is required for a permanent position overseeing HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing installations across commercial and public sector projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from pre-start to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full project ownership from planning through to final handover
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE procedures and CDM regulations
  • Produce and submit Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans
  • Coordinate with site teams, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Maintain schedules, budgets, and client communication
  • Monitor progress and performance, reporting to senior leadership
  • Attend site meetings and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety across all sites
  • Drive quality assurance and ensure all works meet specification

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within HVAC, mechanical or plumbing sectors
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects
  • SMSTS certified
  • Valid Full UK Driving Licence (no DR codes)
  • Computer literate and comfortable with project management systems
  • Basic DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
