Job Description
Universal Products & Experiences’ Global Brand Strategy & Design team drives the global vision and strategic development and execution of our franchise strategy and marketing plans to cultivate brand growth and drive revenue throughout the franchise ecosystem. We are a team of makers, thinkers, leaders and rebels whose passion is to ignite ideas every day, in a culture that celebrates creativity, fresh thinking, executional excellence and each other.
The Project Manager, Multimedia will manage the development of presentation materials, production assets, marketing sales materials, sizzle reels, event exhibition assets, or other materials as needed across all UP&E businesses.
The role is the cross-function liaison throughout the business globally with key partners in franchise strategy, category management, product design & development, retail development/marketing, global communications, legal and global asset production and management. The Project Manager is a lead ambassador for the Multimedia operations team and is responsible for historical brand knowledge and is eager to learn future plans to manage the business globally. This role reports to the Director of Multimedia Operations.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years or more of related work experience, ideally in Project Management
  • Previous experience in executive presentation build and management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting/competing priorities and stretch assignments
  • Works independently and is self-directed with exceptional ability to execute on tasks and understand their contribution to the bigger picture
  • Prior experience working with “C”-level executives
  • Strategic, critical thinker and creative problem solver
  • Ability to collaborate, take initiative, follow through and work through ambiguous situations
  • Effective communication, including speaking, writing and active listening as well as a professional presentation
  • Highest-level project management skills, including knowledge and use of project management software, exceptional attention to detail, time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
  • Must be self-motivated & enjoy working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Strong MAC skills and highly proficient in Keynote, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint, Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and Workfront preferred

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities
  • Works in partnership with Multimedia Creative team to ensure seamless management of projects and requests for key stakeholders across franchise strategy, category management, product design & development, retail development/marketing, global communications, legal and global asset production and management
  • Develops and manages department tracker as well as timelines for all assigned projects; proactively and continuously manages updates to project trackers, project management tools, or other ad hoc reports
  • Manages development and consistent updates of presentations and messaging, ensuring exceptional quality, for internal and external use
  • Supports development of brand experiences which may include experiential marketing, tradeshows, exhibits, events and installations
  • Manages approvals waterfall for all projects, including executive-level approval moments
  • Leads project review meetings per timelines for assigned projects. Provides agenda points and keeps meetings on track and on time. Recaps meetings and next steps for key stakeholder alignment
  • Maintains an accurate definition of scope and timing for deliverables based on business priorities
  • Effectively communicates to the Director for any scope creep or delays in projects that could impact delivery timelines
  • Provides business partnership and advises relevant stakeholders using subject matter expertise of historical processes, in-depth knowledge of division strategies, and knowledge of annual priorities and slates
  • Keeps security of assets top of mind and guides team on usage and distribution
  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
  • Offers onsite production expertise for key events and meetings, as required
  • Manages sales materials audits and/or any research requested relating to materials posted on the digital asset management system, including but not limited to identifying past sales materials, management and knowledge of sales materials inventory, generating reports and/or pulling references of sales materials
  • Works in partnership with the Global Asset Production team to ensure production assets are properly prepared and packaged to be accurately posted on time via the digital asset management system
  • Partners with Finance and Operations Team lead to manage respective assigned projects budget, including budget planning, quarterly forecasting and pacing along with PO creation and invoicing
  • Builds relationships across the organization and with outside agencies to drive efficiency, productivity, and executional goals
  • Leads initiatives that contribute to promoting a culture of collaboration, proactive problem-solving, Inclusion, wellness, and feedback
  • Contributes to the advancement and actualization of Universal’s diversity, equity, and inclusion commitments
