Project Manager (Murex Migration Program)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large-scale Money Market migration to the Murex platform. The Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day project tracking, workstream coordination, and PMO setup, ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, technology teams, and the Murex delivery group. This role is critical to driving delivery against agreed timelines, governance structures, and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day activities across assigned migration workstreams, ensuring milestones and dependencies are met.
- Establish and maintain PMO functions including project planning, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management, and reporting.
- Act as a key interface between business, technology, operations, and vendor teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Support project governance by preparing status updates, reporting packs, and escalation documentation.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and project meetings, driving accountability across all stakeholders.
- Proactively track, escalate, and resolve issues, risks, and dependencies across workstreams.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Integration Leads, and Change Coordinators to align requirements, testing scope, and readiness plans.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and deliverables to ensure traceability and control.
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager on large-scale system migration or transformation programs (ideally in Financial Services / Capital Markets).
- Strong understanding of Treasury, Capital Markets, or Front-to-Back trade processing; prior Murex or trading platform experience highly desirable.
- Proven ability to set up and run PMO functions (planning, RAID management, governance, reporting).
- Skilled at managing cross-functional teams in complex environments with multiple stakeholder groups.
- Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with regulatory and operational risk considerations in financial environments is an asset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master, SAFe) preferred.
- 8–10+ years of project management experience, with 3–5 years in Capital Markets / Treasury / Trading platform programs.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $100.00-$110.00 per hour
