Job Description The Product and Delivery team are responsible for successfully implementing new business opportunities or changes to existing services across International Media Operations and our International business units. With responsibility across the Media Operations lifecycle from scheduling & playout to media ordering & fulfilment the team are experts at delivering new services across the end-to-end workflow. Additionally, the team support and deploy IT Business Systems and solutions used by several International business units. The breadth of Product & Deliveries’ responsibility includes: Business Development Support & Governance Business Analysis & Requirements Capture Project Management, Delivery Methodology, Reporting & Accountability Product Management, Product Roadmap & Solution Design Service Transition, Integration & Change Management Workflow Optimisation, Business Process Engineering & Productivity Improvement We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Product & Delivery team. You will lead and deliver complex, cross-functional, and client-facing projects focused on media operations and business systems across NBCUniversal International. The candidate will bring a minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience in project management roles within fast-paced environments in the media, broadcast, or digital content industries. This role spans the entire project lifecycle – from business requirements to technical integration – and requires a confident communicator, a strategic thinker, and a detail-oriented planner. This role will be based in London and may involve some international travel. Key Responsibilities Work as a member of the Product & Delivery team Manage multiple concurrent projects through the end-to-end lifecycle from Inception to Completion, using standard project management methodologies. Ensuring that the projects deliver to the agreed timescales, budget and quality expectations Work with product and engineering teams to drive solution design and prioritise configuration & development tickets Work with business users to understand their business requirements so that you can ensure the resulting technical solutions deliver on business objectives Maintain project documentation including but not limited to; project plan, risk register, communications plans and status reporting Provide regular communication to project stakeholders including; business leadership teams, user groups & operational support teams Ambassador for International Media Operations when liaising with the business units supported by IMO and vendors that supply services to NBCU Qualifications Education and Qualifications Professional project management qualification (e.g.Prince2, APMP) - desirable Skills & Behaviours Skilled at building strong, effective relationships with internal teams and with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders and external partners Excellent time management skills with ability to communicate across multiple time zones and territories Evidence of leadership capability and credibility and influencing skills across large virtual team Strong understanding of the challenges of working in an International environment and sensitivities to regional differences in working & communication styles Ability to build relationships with internal teams as well as with stakeholders that may be more senior Focused on delivering excellence through detailed planning and paying attention to detail at every stage Independent thinker, confident to build and execute a strategy and direction for the project Has ability to make courageous decisions in pressure situations ensuring that all factors are assessed in the process Ability to work with subject matter experts, balancing their project deliverables with a recognition that they have day to day responsibilities that may conflict with project deliverables Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising where necessary Ability to work in matrix organisation where resources are shared and may have conflicting priorities, including being based in other time zones Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills Specific Previous Experience Demonstrated excellence in delivering projects and meeting stakeholder expectations Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion over an extended period Extensive background in overseeing complex projects and ensuring timely delivery Demonstrated expertise in project management developed through significant hands-on experience Must have a strong blend of technical experience and knowledge – both media and broadcasting technologies as well as information technologies, such as Agile software development Must have extensive experience of project and programme management in media organisations, with a proven track record of delivering major projects and business change programmes with >$100k budgets Strong understanding and experience with change management practices to aid smooth delivery of projects Proactive with an excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication style as well as planning and time management skills Desktop skills – MS office, MS Visio, Power BI, MS Project (or similar applications) The responsibilities associated with this position are not limited to the above description and may be modified at any time by the company Additional Information As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
